Yes Michael Arrington of Tech Crunch fame believes the BBC should go - his principle argument being that by launching a new CBBC service in the public sector we have stifled 3 or 4 start ups. What Michael failed to realize was that the system bought by the BBC was in fact brought in from a commercial indie, which means that the BBC has in fact helped develop this marked rather than retard it. |
